It was amazing. Absolutely unbelievable. You wouldn't have convinced me it could happen, if I hadn't actually been there to see it with my own two eyes. Canyon View won another football game!! That is the first away football game we have won in years. And I don't even know if they kept statistics long enough to know how many years have passed since Canyon View actually won 2 football games in a row.
Besides the euphoria of it all, I came to be moved by the attitude of hope that I sensed from the players. Even though they were down 20-7 at one point, I could feel their optimism. Now I have been watching CV football since 2001, and I have never felt that eminating from the players of the Canyon View football team before. I watched the coach hug the players and lift them off their feet when they ran off the field after accomplishing a goal. It gave me goosebumps. I heard the players chant their unity on the sidelines. I got chills. It was something previous CV coaches in years past havn't been able to do: instill our team with hope! It was an incredible feeling - for players and for fans!
Oh yeah - and Celeste cheered! :)

That is so cool! Not only the win, but the hope, too. Sounds like this new coach has real potential. What does James think of him?
I like the picture of Celeste - she's so cute.
