Charleston, West Virginia!!

It's been an eventful last few weeks with James taking center stage!

Last Thursday James' mission call came! With nerveous anticipation he waited until everyone was home.
Bryce almost had him talked into opening it with only Bryce there, but he resisted the evil temptation. Finally when we were all assembled, he nerveously opened it, read the call silently to himself, covered his mouth with unbelief while we were all DYING to know where he was going! When he read it to us all, I could contain myself no longer, and yipped and hee-hawed like a hillbilly from the backwoods!!!
I think all of us were a little relieved he was staying in the states after Bryce's episode in Portugal. Here's a few of the facts you may not know: His mission president is from Yakima Washington and was born in Prosser! I don't remember his name but I don't want to go in James' room to retrieve it without disinfectant and goggles! His mission covers all of West Virginia, half of Virginia and part of Ohio and Maryland. The southern most part of the mission meets the North Carolina Mission. James has been checking out the weather in West Virginia and Friday it was 87% humidity!! That makes me sweat just writing about it! So now we're preparing for the big day!
And until then, I got that darn John Denver song stuck in my head: "Country Roads, Take me home, to the place, I belong, WEST VIRGINIA, mountain mama, country roads take me home!"
