Halloween fun!

Usually halloween is only for the young.  Once I became a mother I was either preparing costumes, or helping my children dress in them but since those days, my kids have grown up.  Now halloween has become another boring, uneventful, mundane holiday where I spend lots of money to make other kids have cavities. Pointless.

This year, however, Kyle had a brilliant idea.  He downloaded a murder mystery theatre game and we all played.  The script told us the characteristics our character had, and some underlying themes to ask about.  Halfway through the event, there was a murder and one of us did it.

Was it the geisha girl or the Pharoah?

The southern belle or the adventurous Indiana Jones?

Was it the spoiled rotton princess or the egyptianm ruler?

Or the hollywood director or the 20's flapper girl?

Or was it the dracula or the mermaid?

It was loads of fun and now I know that halloween isn't just for the young - it is for the young at heart!
