Oh the Madness!

Ironic, isn't it, that I am blogging about winning the family NCAA March Madness brackets while the championship game is going on.  More ironic is that I am the world's worst basketball fan, but I am the one winning the brackets, and if Kentucky wins tonight I will seal the deal with 45 wins.  And on that premise, I will give my acceptance speech.  ~ah-hem~ Is this thing on?  Well I gotta admit it feels real good to win this honor.  After so many many years of trying to beat all the male posterity that I gave birth to, and gloat to the extreem sports nut I married, I have finally broken through and won the crown.  I would like to take this moment to thank all the people in my life who have made this possible: my family, for whom I could not have placed in 1st without them, UNC for losing when I picked Kansas to beat them, and to Duke for going out early so I didn't have to wonder when you would crumble.  Even though I still don't know the name of the ugly center on Kentucky's team, or what the mascot is for Syracuse, or why Baylor wore camaflouge to the big dance, or the name of VCU's coach, I hope I will always be as humble as I am right now, and that I will have the chance to show my humility again through a win with the NCAA football bowl games this winter! Thank you again for this great honor!
May the Madness continue!

*While I am the winner of the family brackets in Cedar City, I may not have won overall if we include Kyle and Erin in the Madness because they weren't in town, so we haven't sweated, compared, labored and debated over their brackets and I am not sure of their records.

For all of us wives and mothers of crazy basketball fans....way to go!! Now, the big question....what did you win? A dinner out? A month of massages? Or, just bragging rights for the year? All is good!
