From cheerleader to this?!?

As many of you know - Celeste is now the only child I have left at home that I can regularly take pictures of so let me apologize right now if you feel inundated with pictures of my last child to leave the nest.  She pretty much keeps us hoppin!

The week before her birthday she got to play powderpuff football.  Something the previous cheer coaches would not allow.  The theme of homecoming was 'Rock-n-Roll" and her team 'dressedup' like the rock group Kiss (hence the painted faces). Celeste got in touch with her masculine side and actually tackled a girl when she dropped the F-bomb. She said she got a penalty but it was worth it.  Her boy friend (yeah - I have a hard time with that) was the coach of her team so this is them after the game.

After the bruising had healed and the aches had gone away, we got to celebrate Celeste's birthday.

It was an odd day but I think it turned out to be one of Celeste's most memorable birthdays!
