I'm thankful for . . .

It was a great thanksgiving, and, as tradition would have it, I have become more aware of my wonderful blessings during this season of appreciation!  Things that don't seem apparent but are, nonetheless, very key in my life!

I am thankful for my growing entourage of daughters and for their help in the kitchen, for their expertise and for their help in expanding my recipe collection!

I'm also grateful for children that have a sense of humor.  Bryce just couldn't wait for us to mix the traditional batch of cranberry juice and sprite, so he had Celeste pour some in his mouth!
Life is always amusing with Bryce around!

I'm so thankful for a good turkey carver, kitchen clean-up master, tire-changer-in nine-degree weather, hard-working provider, laundry doer and loving husband! (Go Tar Heels!)

I'm thankful for the men in my life.  For 3 fantastic sons and a wonderful husband who love and care for the women in their life.  They have been a strength to me throughout my whole life.  For this I am truly grateful!  And for having them live close by is a special blessing!  I know I won't always have this privilege so I enjoy it whenever I can!

May I never take them for granted!

I'm so glad you had a good Thanksgiving. I really wish I had been able to see you while Steve and I were down. We ended up coming home sooner than planned to babysit Brooke while the rest of Corey's family and my mom went to the BYU/Utah game. Go Utes! We'll be down the weekend before Christmas and possibly the weekend after (we're going to Denver for Christmas), so maybe I'll be able to stop by and say hi! *crossing fingers*

P.S. Reading the comment before mine reminded me...my mom pointed out that you and some of your family were pictured in the newspaper! Did you see it? You were waiting at Wal-mart. It was good to "see" you!
