Zumba cha-cha-cha

As part of my news years resolution I have tried zumba. That modern, fast-paced lap da . . . . I mean latin dancing that has everyone talking. Now that I've gone a few times (and by few I mean two) I am kind of an expert. Here's what I've learned. There's a lot of shaking bootie, swinging the hips, sweating and panting. There are a lot of hip thrusts, and a whole lot of jiggling going on. I wouldn't say I caught on, or even excelled. But I did manage and I endured for the entire 60 minutes! I must admit I was one of the oldest in the class,

and there were times where I felt like I had on Herman Munsters shoes,
and my hips were set in concrete
But I had fun laughing at myself.
And they do say that laughter is the best medicine.
