First of all, my apologies to all of those millions of you out there who love reading my blog and have been hopelessly disappointed the last two and a half months because I have not had time, nor ambition nor energy to blog. Altho classes and finals have taken up the lion's share of my time, I thought I would show you what other fun adventures have been popping up in the Heuett household.
Easter weekend we got to go visit my sister and her family! LOVED every single minute of it, including Wii, cupcake store, chocolate shoppe, chatting with her cute (and handsome) kids, and best of all . . .drum roll please . . .visiting with my sister!!
Sunday we got home in time to celebrate Easter - somehow not the same with only one child at home. Celeste made this skirt for her "Easter dress" and I think it looks fantabulous!
On the following Friday, James came home from his mission to West Virginia! We were all so excited to see him!
The next day was Erin Jo's baby shower and we had a BLAST setting up, and making everything 'just so' for her and her guests.
We were so happy with how it all turned out!A few days later was Celeste's final dance recital! We all went to show our love and support and happiness. Can you see our elation glowing on our faces?!?
The next Saturday was Kyle's graduation. He got his masters degree and got 'hooded' (not to be confused with 'Hoodwinked") by his dad and the chair of his committee! Kyle's brothers challenged him to put on his hood . . . so he did.
That same night Celeste went to Grads with Josh and had a spectacular time! They Spent the day at the sand dunes (and got burnt!), ate dinner at the top of the parking garage and then danced the night away!
As for me, I'm still trying to get used to the extra time I have. I have thought several times through this blog "I should be doing my homework!" But somehow, life seems to take care of the extra time I have, Tomorrow is Erin Jo's birthday, James' homecoming this weekend and then a quick trip up to SLC right after that. At least staying so busy keeps me outta trouble!
